liviticus, or: Leviticus, is the third of the five Old Testament books ascribed to Moses (see the holy bible [phrase]). It is also called 'The book of the Law of the Priests'. it contains very little historical information, but is mostly priestly legislation and the practice of the law among the people. It records God's instructions, given at Sinai, for worship by His people.

Leviticus 18:22 is flung around by religious fundamentalists as a blanket condemnation of gay love and sexuality. Leviticus 18:22 tells: You shall not lie with a male as with a woman.although leviticus condemns many more actions, like eating pig, shaving your beard in a special way etcetera, christians only seem te be focussed on the condemning of homosexuality.leviticus is mentioned in p.c.p. because many christians use leviticus to state their homophoby and make this statement politically correct: as long as the bible says it, it is correct.
