biblical figure. samson was a Jewish hero who fell in love with Delilah. later delilah was bribed by the Philistines and she discovered that his strength came from his hair which had never been cut. While he was asleep it was cut, which drained samson of his strength. then the Philistines were able to capture him. after a lot of praying, god gave samson back his strngth and he destroyed the temple of the philistines.the line 'mr samson, can you clean my soul' may refer to the meaning of this biblical passage: if we are sincere after we have sinned and fallen away from the will of God, He will forgive us for those sins and clean our soul.
