'the stones' is a Nickname for British band Rolling Stones, One of the most famous rock groups of all time. its members are Mick Jagger (1943) vocals, Keith Richards (1943) guitar, Bill Wyman (1936) bass, charlie Watts (1941) drums, Ron Wood (1947) guitar and former and member Brian Jones (1942-1969) guitar.
They formed in the 1960s and still exist today. in their early years they were compared with the Beatles (see john lennon), but soon, as they were more wild and got more sex-appeal, they got their own image. The Rolling Stones produced more than 45 albums.
The Manics covered chris farlowe's song Out of time, which was written by mick jagger and keith richards and also recorded by the stones and released on their 1967 album flowers.one of msp's favourite books is A.
E. Hotchner's 'Blown Away: The Rolling Stones and the Death of the Sixties'. First, this book aims to demonstrate a metaphor: the rise and decline of the Rolling Stones and the parallel rise and fall of what the 1960s came to symbolize culturally. Second, it aims to delve into the life and death of founding Stones member Brian Jones. In fact, an entire chapter, provokingly entitled "Who Killed Brian Jones?" was withheld from review copies "because it contains sensitive information and is undergoing final editing." the New York Times, which was able to secure a copy of the chapter, claims that its "paltry revelation is . . . fairly old news"see also:
